About Meera Ralhan

Meera Ralhan graduated summa cum laude from the Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) in 2024 as the 2024 Outstanding Senior for the Animation Department and had her animated short films featured in the 2021 and 2024 CCAD Chroma: Best of Animation showcases. While attending CCAD, she interned her junior year at Bartha as a creative design intern in January of 2023. Meera has since worked as a motion graphics assistant for the past year, creating lower thirds, titles cards, and logo animations in Adobe After Effects for large scale events and Bartha internal use. She also works on conceptual sketches in Photoshop of booths and other environments, treating her draft illustrations as a gateway to endless possibilities for client event spaces. Additionally, she has worked on a number of animated shorts at both CCAD and Bartha, all of which put utmost importance on building an evocative narrative within the film.

One of Meera’s favorite things about working in an art and design field is the collaborative nature of projects. From working in group settings for Lab team animations and 24 Hour animation contests at CCAD, to communicating with and collaborating on larger event pitches with the creative team at Bartha, coming together to create something greater than the sum of its parts is immensely gratifying for her. Another special interest of Meera’s is the art of Bharanatyam, a type of classical Indian dance and one of the oldest forms of dance in the world. It is from her practice of this art that she has learned to be determined in all aspects of her work both on and off stage. The quote, “The show must go on!” provides both motivation and comfort to Meera, as she creates art to be unique, bold, and polished for the world to behold.
